Golphers Tool
Basic Concept
The Golphers Tool is a multi-tool built around a 2.5in drop point blade. The concept was required to include a ball marker, divot tool, bottle opener, and stencil tool.
The included tools were organized around the blade and were designed to be removable for cleaning and replacement when necessary.
Concept Progression
Once the blade and handle style were decided upon by the client, including the tools was simple.
Once the design was finished and prepared for the P1 and 2 series prototypes, the client collaborated with us to decide on the color, materials and finish for the Golphers Tool.

P.2 Series Prototype
The P2 series prototype was made from low cost plastics and rapid prototyping processes to help insure proper form and function. Any modifications needed were performed on this low cost assembly before building the P3 series prototype.
P.3 Series Prototoype
The P3 prototype began with multiple CNC processes for milling out components for the grip and main assembly.
The main user facing materials chosen were swirled acrylic plastic and zebra wood.
